ABSORBABLE SUTURES

Polyglactine 910

Polyglactine (PGE) is a sterile absorbable synthetic multifilament suture composed of polyglactin 910, glycolide and lactide derived from glycolic and lactic acids. The PGE Suture yarns are braided and coated with a blend of caprolactone/glycolide copolymer and calcium stearoyl lactylate. The PGE Suture is available dyed in violet from sizes USP 8/0 to USP 2.
Absortion time: 56-70 days.
We can supply each suture in different and special combination of thread -> needle.

Polyglactine 910 FAST

Polyglactine Swift (PGS) is a sterile absorbable synthetic multifilament suture composed of polyglactin 910, glycolide and lactide derived from glycolic and lactic acids. The PGS Suture yarns are braided and coated with a blend of caprolactone/glycolide copolymer and calcium stearoyl lactylate. The PGS Suture is available dyed in violet from sizes: USP 8/0 a USP 2.
Absortion time: 42 days.

Polyidioxanone

Polydioxanone (PDE) is a sterile absorbable synthetic monofilament suture composed of polyester polydioxanone. The PDE Suture has been proven to be non-antigenic and non-pyrogenic.
There are two main characteristics of the PDE Sutures which are the tensile strength retention and secondly the absorption rate. The PDE Suture is available dyed in violet from sizes: USP 7/0 a USP 2. Absortion time: 180-210gg. We can supply each suture in different and special combination of thread -> needle.

Poliglecaprone

Poliglecaprone 25 (PLC) is a sterile absorbable synthetic monofilament suture composed of a Poly (glycolide-co-caprolactone) and is available both dyed and un-dyed. The un-dyed Suture is beige in color. The PLC Suture is available dyed in violet from sizes: USP 6/0 a USP 2.
Absortion time: 90-120 days.

Poliglicolic Acid I

Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) is a sterile absorbable synthetic, multifilament suture composed of glycolic acid. The yarns are braided and coated with a blend of polycaprolate, copolymer of caprolactone and glycolide and Calcium Stearate. The PGA Suture is available in violet from sizes: USP 8/0 a USP 2. Absortion time: : 60-90 days We can supply each suture in different and special combination of thread -> needle.

Poliglicolic Acid II

Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) is a sterile absorbable synthetic, multifilament suture composed of glycolic acid. The yarns are braided and coated with a blend of glycolide-co-lattide, copolymer of glycolide and lattic acid. The PGA Suture is available in violet from sizes: USP 8/0 a USP 2. NOT ABSORBABLE SUTURES

Nylon

Nylon (NL) Suture is a sterile non-absorbable, monofilament, synthetic; suture composed of polymers Nylon 6 and/or Nylon 6.6. Nylon Sutures are dyed blue or black available from sizes: USP 10/0 to USP 2.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene (PM) is a sterile non-absorbable, monofilament, synthetic surgical suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene a synthetic linear polyolefin and polyethylene.
PM Sutures are available from USP sizes: 9/0 – USP2 and are dyed blue to enhance visibility in tissue.

Polyester

Polyester (PB) is a sterile non-absorbable, braided, synthetic, suture composed of Polyethylene terephthalate (polyester). D-tek PB Sutures are dyed green/blue and coated with Silicon which grants extraordinary smoothness, softness and non-thrombogenic features to the suture.
